Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC in Michigan is seeking a Technical Services Technician to assist with waste processing in the warehouse and support on-site waste management programs for our diverse client base. The role emphasizes safety, proper handling of hazardous materials, and effective communication with customers and project managers.

A high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience are required, with forklift and skid-steer operation skills a plus.

Qualifications

High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
1+ years of related experience (required).
Experience with waste processing and on-site waste management programs.

Responsibilities

Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices.
Assists with waste processing in the warehouse (weighing, scanning, moving containers manually and with a forklift).
Assists customer onsite with waste management programs (collection, bulking, inspections).
Assists Field Chemists in segregating chemicals by hazardous class.
Uses knowledge of storing and processing procedures based on SOPs and company protocols.
Develops good client relationships by communicating with customers.
Communicates with project manager regarding customer needs.
Performs basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties.
Operates a forklift and skid-steer with attachments.
