Reworld Solutions, LLC is seeking a Waste Processing Technician I (WPTI) to join our team in Asheboro, NC. This entry-level role handles collection and processing of waste materials, operating forklifts, balers, and compactors under guidance from the Project Manager.

You will support safe operations, maintain equipment, and assist with housekeeping and documentation, while upholding Reworld's commitment to sustainable waste management and carbon-negative outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving like environment.
• Forklift experience preferred; able to pass respirator fit test.
• Able to use NetSuite and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, balers, compactors, etc.
• Process waste materials into like commodities or in accordance with vendor specifications.
• General housekeeping; sweeping, washing and other maintenance of the area(s).
• Loading/Unloading of van trailers and/or flat beds; managing collection points.
• Interact with plant personnel to determine needs of the local areas.

Apply today!About the roleWaste Processing Technician I (WPTI) is an entry-level position within the Sustainable Site Solutions division of Reworld. The WPTI is responsible for the collection and processing of waste material from their client’s facility. The WPTI takes their direction from the Project Manager when applicable. The WPTI will utilize various forms of machinery to perform their everyday tasks, including forklifts, compactors, and balers. This position will handle various types of waste during their daily routine and is expected to be safety conscious and understand the correct PPE to utilize during their tasks.Responsibilities:Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc.Process waste materials into like commodities or in accordance with vendor specificationsGeneral housekeeping.
