Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of directly related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted? Yes.
• CDL Class A or B required with endorsements (H, N, P, S, T, or X).
• County Driving Privileges may be required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Operate large heavy equipment used in collection and disposal of recyclables, garbage, trash, and refuse.
• Perform minor maintenance and care of heavy equipment.
• Keep work area clean and free of debris to prevent damage to vehicles.
• Assist with directing customers at solid waste centers or landfill.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of trucks and tools.
• Adhere to safety programs and guidelines.
