Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operator at our facilities in the United States. You will unload, QA/QC inbound material, operate heavy equipment including forklifts, and maintain site safety and cleanliness while following company rules and regulations.

The role requires 1–3 years shipping/receiving/warehouse experience, a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift 51 lbs, and good teamwork. Candidates must pass safety tests and adapt to a dusty environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years shipping/receiving and warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate forklift and heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift 51 lbs.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading material in conformance to company rules and regulations.
• Offloads and checks inbound material using QA/QC process.
• Load, unload, and sample solid and liquid material safely per regulations.
• Check for discrepancies between manifested types and actual containers.
• Perform chemical compatibility checks to prevent reactions.
• Operate heavy machinery and powered equipment.
• Perform daily PM and inspections on operating equipment.
• Operate a forklift with attachments.
• Perform basic maintenance such as greasing/cleaning.
• Handle PPE as required.
• Perform spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and pit.
