VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC seeks a Forklift/Heavy Equipment Operator (2nd-Shift) in Brent, Alabama. You will handle unloading/loading and operate forklifts and other heavy equipment in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include unloading and loading wastes, inspecting equipment, performing basic maintenance, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following all regulations. Rotating shifts and teamwork are required.

Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years of shipping, receiving and warehouse experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Basic math, reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Ability to work in a dusty environment doing repetitive motions in any weather.
• Rotating shifts.

Aufgaben

• Unload and load wastes in conformance to company rules and regulations.
• Offload and check-in inbound waste streams.
• Load, unload, and sample solid waste safely.
• Check consistency of manifested types vs. containers.
• Operate heavy machinery in confined areas.
• Perform daily PM and inspections on operating equipment.
• Basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties.
