Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Idaho Falls, ID, seeks a Waste Management Technical Assistant Energy to join our team. You will provide technical and administrative support, handle accounting and data tracking, and prepare invoices and purchase orders as part of a dynamic energy and waste management group.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (college/technical education preferred) and strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills. U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.

• Technical work experience or related education is desirable.
• Must have strong multitasking and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to Waste Management using standard office tools and processes.
• Handle accounting, financial duties, record keeping, research, and waste data tracking.
• Prepare purchase orders and invoices.
• Research waste disposition options and vendors.
• Track and document waste inventories and dispositions.
• Enter and retrieve waste characterization data in databases.
• Create databases and spreadsheets as needed.
• Assist management in tracking project metrics (safety, quality, training).
• Handle confidential and time-sensitive material.
• Perform other duties as required.

Overview

We are seeking a Waste Management Technical Assistant Energy to join our Team in Idaho Falls, ID.

Your role

• Provides technical and administrative support to the Waste Management organization using standard office equipment, corporate systems, processes, policies and procedures.
• Performs accounting, financial duties, record keeping, technical research, and waste data tracking.
• Prepares purchase orders.
• Prepares invoices.
• Performs research of waste disposition options and vendors.
• Assists in the tracking and documentation of waste inventories and disposition.
• Enters and retrieves waste characterization data in various databases.
• Creates databases and spreadsheets as required.
• Assists management in the tracking and trending a various project metrics (safety, quality, training).
• Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
• Performs other duties as required.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $48,000-$80,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
