Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Waste Management Specialist Energy for our Idaho Falls, ID office. You will interface with generators to ensure program requirements, manage waste packaging, labeling, storage and disposition in a compliant, timely manner.

Role involves interpreting regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, DOT), waste characterization, packaging, labeling and regulatory inspections, with strong documentation and customer interaction skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College or technical education desired.
• Technical work experience or education.
• Strong Math and Science background preferred.
• DOT Qualified Shipper preferred.
• Packaging & Transportation preferred.
• Working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA and TSCA, DOT).
• Organized and disciplined approach to documentation, development, maintenance and tracking of waste activities.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $72,000- $120,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
