Job summary

Reworld is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support laboratory operations and conduct analyses of materials to ensure regulatory compliance. The role includes sample preparation, analysis, and reporting of results.

The position is Monday–Friday with rotating Sundays from 6am to 11am. It offers benefits including health care, retirement plan, PTO, parental leave, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Previous lab experience desired, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the waste industry is preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols and procedures.
• Calculate and report analytical results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal.
• Clean glassware to meet appropriate analytical cleanliness standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas used during the workday.
• Adhere to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
• Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing.
