Job summary

Reworld is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team in Pasadena, TX. You will support laboratory operations, prepare and analyze samples, and report results in accordance with regulatory standards.

The role requires proficiency with GC, ICP, and calorimeter instrumentation, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks safely. We offer health benefits, 401k, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the waste industry is preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols and procedures.
• Calculate and report analytical results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal.
• Clean glassware to meet appropriate analytical cleanliness standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas used during the workday.
• Adhere to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
• Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing.
• Background in instrumentation with proficiency in GC, ICP, and Calorimeter.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
