Clean Harbors is hiring a Warehouse Chemical Technician / Receiving Chemist I for our Braintree, MA facility. The role involves receiving and sampling waste drums, with a 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). Pay starts at $23.50 per hour with a $1.75 shift differential, totaling $25.25/hour.

The candidate should have a HS diploma, familiarity with Excel/Word, and at least 1 year of related experience. Forklift skills are a plus and the company emphasizes health benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Excel and Word is preferred.
• 1+ years of related labor and computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive containers, verify counts and sizes, and code waste for disposal.
• Sample incoming drums and perform basic analysis per procedures.
• Sort and consolidate alkaline batteries for disposal.
• Ensure proper drum coding for routing and billing.
• Move drums to storage areas and complete QA/QC paperwork.
• Maintain OSHA-compliant safety practices and company protocols.
