Daniels Health in Ellenwood, GA is seeking a Loader/Unloader for our medical waste treatment facility. You will check in containers, weigh and record data, move waste, and operate a forklift to load the autoclave.

The role requires standing for long periods, working in PPE, and collaborating with a team on a 2nd shift (1PM-9PM). A strong safety record and reliability are essential for success.

Formación

• Experience in warehouse labor with heavy lifting (50–75 lb containers).
• Willingness to pass a 5-panel urine drug screen.
• Willingness to undergo a 7 year background check.
• Basic math skills and ability to read/record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Able to stand for extended periods in PPE.
• Proven longevity with previous employers.
• Can-do attitude and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Ellenwood, GA. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

What will your job involve?

• Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team!

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a warehouselabor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can-do attitude!!
