Job summary

Justice Law Corporation is seeking an Attorney with 4–9 years of experience to represent employees in wage and hour claims in Washington. The role involves litigation before federal and state courts and arbitrators, with opportunities to drive cases in a collaborative and entrepreneurial firm environment.

The candidate must be licensed to practice in Washington and be capable of handling all stages of litigation, from discovery through appeals, with strong advocacy and communication skills.

Qualifications

• JD degree and license to practice in Washington.
• Experience in wage and hour employment litigation is required.
• Experience across all stages of litigation, from discovery to appeals.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Defending and taking depositions; drafting meet and confer letters regarding discovery; arguing motions; drafting discovery and dispositive motions; conducting arbitrations; preparing for and attending mediations; and preparing cases for trial.
• Perform in-depth legal research.
• Communicate with outside parties such as attorneys, employers, law enforcement agents, administrative agencies, etc.
• Managing all aspects of cases, ensuring deadlines are met, staying organized and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Aid in the expansion of our California practice; Additional duties as assigned.
