Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a full-time Washington-licensed hospital coder to review medical records, ensure accurate coding for reimbursement and compliance, and mentor coding staff onsite.

The role requires coding diagnoses and procedures with ICD-10-CM and CPT-4, collaborating with departments to fix errors, and supporting testing and implementation of coding software and EMR. This on-site position is based in Washington state and entails close cross-department coordination.

Qualifications

• Completion of a college-based or AAPC/AHIMA approved coding education program.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inpatient acute care or hospital-based coding.
• Credentials such as RHIA, CCS, or CPC.
