Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Indianapolis invites applicants for Wash Line Operators / Forklift Operator role. You will use sit-down forklift and clamp truck to move bails, load onto production line, and assist with pallet wrapping.

We offer a 5:45am – 6:15pm shift with a 2 day on, 2 day off, 3 day on pattern. Benefits are available after hire, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K, along with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in warehousing or material handling a plus.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift and clamp truck to move large bales.
• Transport bales to production line, offload and reload as needed.
• Assist with wrapping and banding pallets of material.
• Monitor wash line for errors and multi-task as required.

Wash Line Operators

Join our fast-paced and busy team as a Forklift Operator, where safety, precision, and teamwork are at the heart of everything you do. We're looking for reliable individuals who take pride in maintaining an organized workspace and ensuring smooth operations across the facility.

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and is okay working in a unique environment. This facility is located on the southside of downtown Indianapolis.

Pay/Benefits:

• $24.55/hour
• Benefits are available once hired-on: includes medical, dental, vision, 401K and more.

Schedule:

Shift is 5:45am – 6:15pm working a2 day on, 2 day off, 3 day onpattern.

You will get 36 hours in one week and 48 hours the next. Must be available to work holidays if your schedule falls on that day.

• This company is a waste/recycling disposal facility whose services include collection, transfer, disposal and recycling.
• This nearly new facility features nice and clean amenities and a well-maintained workspace throughout.

Job Duties:

• Will use a sit-down forklift and clamp truck to move large bails around.
• Will bring those bails to the production line, offload and reload.
• Will assist with wrapping and banding pallets of material.
• Ability to multi-task and monitor the wash line for any errors.

Requirements:

• Sitdown forklift experience is preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent coordination and communication with team members
• Must be reliable! This is a small crew so one person missing a day off work will make a huge difference.
