Small Mine Development, LLC in Battle Mountain, NV is seeking an entry-level Wash Bay Technician to support maintenance crews by prepping and washing equipment for service. Competitive hourly wage plus safety bonus, with schedule TBD.

Responsibilities include washing with pressure washers, keeping wash bay clean, basic maintenance, assisting the maintenance team, waste disposal, hazard mitigation, and pre-operational inspections.

Position: Wash Bay Technician – Entry Level
Pay Rate: Competitive Hourly Wage (Depending on Experience) + safety bonus
Schedule: TBD
Area: Battle Mountain Rebuild Shop

Duties and Responsibilities

Our wash bay technicians are primarily responsible for providing support to maintenance crews by preparing and washing equipment to be serviced. Those responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Washing equipment by use of pressure washers, manual scrubbing, and cleaning agents
• Maintaining a clean and organized wash bay area
• Performing basic maintenance on wash bay and reporting any needed repairs
• Providing assistance to maintenance team members
• Waste removal and disposal
• Hazard recognition and mitigation
• Participation in risk assessments and following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Conducting thorough pre-operational inspections on equipment

Experience and Qualification Requirements

Applicants must:

• Work with a safety-first mind set and maintain situational awareness at all times.
• Have the ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Be able to properly care for and maintain all tools and equipment.
• Have the ability to work independently.
• Have strong time management skills.
• Possess exceptional housekeeping habits.
• Have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and work in year-round weather conditions.

Beneficial Skills but not required:

• Forklift operating experience
