Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Houston, TX is seeking a Wash Aisle Operator to process soiled textiles through washing and drying stages, load and unload equipment, monitor cycles, and ensure a smooth flow of textiles to the next production stage. You will report to the Production Manager and work as part of a team in a fast-paced facility.

Requirements include standing/walking for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and following safety procedures with PPE.

Qualifications

• Standing and walking for extended periods required.
• Lift up to 25 pounds as part of duties.
• Exposure to temperature variations, humidity, dust in facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts and related laundry equipment.
• Monitor washing and drying cycles and input data into automated systems.
• Maintain efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next stage.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
