Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Wash Aisle Operator to process soiled textiles through washing and drying stages. You will load, unload, operate washers and related equipment, monitor quality, and transport textiles to the next production phase.

We value reliability and safety as you maintain efficient workflow and input data into systems. The role includes following supervision directives, keeping the work area clean, and supporting other production positions as needed at our industrial laundry in

Qualifications

• Recognize colors and sizes, count and different types of products.
• Perform appropriate basic math computations of adding, subtracting, and counting.
• Ability to comprehend and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and operate washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists and/or other equipment.
• Maintain an efficient flow of textiles and supplies in these processes and monitor quality.
• Report malfunctions or problems promptly.
• Correctly input data into washing/drying systems.
• Transport textiles to and from the work area.
• Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards for the position.
• Follow instructions as directed by supervision.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Work in other production positions as needed.
