Qualifications
Experienced middleware administrator with command of IBM DataPower, ACE, MQ and WSRR.
Proficient in RHEL and Unix shell scripting for automation.
Strong communication and planning skills to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain DataPower virtual appliances using the CLI, Web GUI, and XML Management Interface on VMs in cloud.
Install, configure, and maintain IBM ACE, IBM MQ, and IBM WSRR in operational environments on RHEL on VMs in cloud.
Promote changes created by Developers through the SDLC and into the production.
Write deployment scripts and develop CI/CD pipelines using various DevOps tools.
Responsible for writing deployment scripts using DataPower CLI.
Responsible for top-level object configuration and low-level services configuration.
Maintain system availability and troubleshoot problems.
Own connectivity configuration for MQ Queue Manager and WSRR Server objects.
Integrate DataPower, ACE, MQ and WSRR in multi-instance environments.
Implement, monitor, and performance-tune multi-instance queue manager.
Develop and implement security strategies for a secure middleware environment.
Perform upgrades, patch installations, and monitor performance.
Implement system security patches and manage vulnerabilities.
Create and manage user accounts and domains.
Monitor the performance of DataPower appliance.
Responsible for initial bootstrap setup and firmware upgrades.
Define, track, and maintain system configuration documents.
