Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced IBM MQ & ACE Administrator to support mission-critical messaging infrastructure for a leading financial services client. You will manage MQ/ACE environments, perform installations, configurations, patches, and troubleshooting, and participate in on-call production support.

The role emphasizes Linux administration and cloud-enabled collaboration. The ideal candidate has 8-10+ years of IBM MQ administration, ACE/IIB expertise, strong Linux and shell

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of IBM MQ Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB) Administration.
• Strong Linux administration and Shell/Bash scripting skills.
• Experience with troubleshooting, upgrades, and security patching.
• Ansible scripting/playbooks is a plus.
• AWS experience is a strong advantage.

• Administer IBM MQ & App Connect Enterprise (ACE) environments
• Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot MQ/ACE platforms
• Perform environment management, vulnerability remediation, and production support
• Support Linux-based environments using Shell/Bash scripting
• Participate in an on-call rotation for production support
• Collaborate with Linux and virtualization teams while expanding cloud capabilities
