Qualifications

Requisition Summary

This exciting position will lead the claims processing team by providing guidance and prioritization of daily activities and be a champion for continuous improvement. This position works directly with dealers, suppliers, and the management team to exceed performance goals.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Direct activities of Warranty Analysts, including assigning responsibilities and establishing task priorities.
  • Balance staff workloads to meet throughput and accuracy goals.
  • Identification and implementation of process improvement and waste reduction opportunities.
  • Provide support and guidance to dealers on warranty related topics.
  • Process warranty claims, analyzing failures per terms of division warranty programs, and entering and/or editing failure coding.
  • Review and initiate policies and procedures regarding warranty for communication to Peterbilt dealers.
  • Ensure Warranty Analyst staff has skills and tools to perform assigned tasks.
  • 5% travel can be expected for this position.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Class 8 truck manufacturer, including exposure to parts and service functions; knowledge of manufacturing processes and warranty a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fast learner with the ability to perform in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Education

Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Degree Preferred.
