Executive Recruiter with an Expertise in Building Collaborative Relationships, Connecting Company's and Talent in Northern California!

You are a billing professional with expertise in SaaS subscription models, ensuring accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, and high-touch customer support.

This position offers: Competitive salary with benefits - $90k-$105k+

Schedule: Remote / Living in the Dallas area

What you will be doing:
  • Own the end-to-end billing process for SaaS subscriptions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage recurring and usage-based billing models.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Success to align contract terms with billing.
  • Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies related to overages, renewals, and term changes.
  • Serve as the primary billing liaison for high-value customers, providing white-glove support.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and billing processes.
  • Reconcile payments, refunds, credits, and chargebacks while maintaining financial records.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and automate billing workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with IT and Finance teams to integrate billing platforms with CRM and ERP systems.
What you bring:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in billing operations within a SaaS, fintech, or subscription-based company.
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models and subscription billing.
  • Customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills for high-touch client interactions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for resolving complex billing issues.
  • Bonus: Experience working with finance and accounting teams on audit and compliance requirements.
  • Ideally hands-on experience with Billing or revenue cycle platforms — such as Maxio (formerly SaaS Optics), Chargebee, or similar subscription billing software.
  • Proven ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of the billing function from day one.
