Job summary

KIA Motors Group seeks a qualified professional to oversee warranty systems, claims review, and quality initiatives in a manufacturing setting. You will develop programs, analyze countermeasures, and support production with data-driven decisions.

The role requires travel and the ability to collaborate with distributors and international teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field with 2–5 years in a manufacturing/engineering role.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required by the job.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in business decisions affecting operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain claim system editing criteria, warranty policies, and service agreements.
• Review submitted claims from distributors and resolve issues between KIA GEORGIA and distributors.
• Develop and maintain warranty programs and cost reduction initiatives.
• Execute and implement quality activities in line with company goals.
• Lead special production support projects and prepare detailed plans and reports for QA.

Job description

Develop broad understanding and application of the automotive industry standards and continually strive for improvements and excellence in all facets of the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain claim system editing criteria, warranty policies, procedure manuals, and warranty and service agreements.
• Review submitted claims from distributors; resolve claim issues between KIA GEORGIA and distributors.
• Develop and maintain various programs (warranty compensation, warranty claim cost reduction, etc.).
• Execute and implement quality activities in compliance with company goals.
• Execute special projects for production support activities.
• Prepare detailed plans, reports (i.e., effectiveness of countermeasures), and schedules for the Quality Assurance team.
• Ensure compliance of regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field along with two (2) to five (5) years of progressive experience in the engineering field in a manufacturing environment preferably within the automotive industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required

• Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Experience in Power BI, Power Automation systems
• Experience with SAP system preferred.
• Possess a broad understanding and application of the automotive standards.
• Experience with warranty management systems.
