Forest Recruiting Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a cross‑functional team focused on improving product quality, reducing warranty exposure, and driving continuous improvement. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on warranty investigation and root cause resolution.

The engineer will work across PMO, Engineering, Testing, Field Service, and Sales to translate field lessons into improved designs and processes. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BE in mechanical/industrial engineering or equivalent with 3–7 years of related experience.
• CQE or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, weldments, and fabrication processes.
• Experience with failure analysis and root-cause investigation techniques.
• Proficient in structured problem solving and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor warranty process end-to-end, including validation, investigation, root-cause analysis, and cost tracking.
• Lead containment actions and corrective actions to ensure long-term effectiveness.
• Analyze warranty trends and drive design/process improvements.
• Develop CTQ requirements and project-specific quality plans.
• Coordinate with PMO, engineering, testing, field service, and sales.
• Create dashboards and reports for warranty trends and project risk.
