Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Customer Care Representative for Product Warranty Claims in Lathrop, CA. You will be the first contact for warranty inquiries and guide claims through resolution while coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely, accurate responses.

Strong communication, detailed documentation, and fraud investigations are essential. You will work with SAP and Salesforce systems, perform claims investigations, and liaise with QC and other teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Customer service background required.
• Claims adjuster/processing and resolution background preferred.
• Investigation and negotiation experience required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle warranty inquiries and claims as first point of contact.
• Request credits and cheque requests; generate replacement orders.
• Provide product availability and negotiate labor costs.
• Answer technical inquiries and escalate as needed.
• Review warranty claims for compliance with guidelines.
• Investigate potential fraudulent claims and validate legitimacy of claims.
• Liaise with QC departments and other stakeholders to resolve claims.
• Log and update care requests in the database.
• Follow DOA matrix and safety policies; maintain documentation.
