Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Customer Warranty Claims Specialist to resolve roofing quality claims submitted by homeowners and contractors. You will analyze Lab decisions, apply warranty terms, and coordinate reimbursements with the Claims Settlement Specialist to close out claims.

You will negotiate settlements, manage customer relationships, and maintain high service levels while reviewing documentation and ensuring compliance with company warranty policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience in a business environment.
• Undergraduate Degree preferred or required.
• Knowledge and application of roofing products a plus.
• Prior warranty claim experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle warranty claim calls by phone queue.
• Review documentation and Lab decisions to administer proper reimbursement per warranty terms.
• Negotiate claim settlements and ensure LOA adherence.
• Communicate settlements with customers with high-level service.
• Coordinate with plants and sales regions on quality trends and potential risks.
• Build relationships with plant personnel and sales regions to resolve issues.
