Job summary

Unknown Company seeks a Warranty Clerk to support the Warranty Administrator in processing claims, verifying eligibility, and coordinating with service teams. You will maintain detailed warranty records and ensure compliance with GM/Dealer agreements to protect the dealer.

You will communicate with customers and service staff, post credits, and help resolve issues promptly while maintaining accurate documentation in the database.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive parts and warranty claims processing.
• Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Process warranty claims and ensure all necessary documentation are complete and accurate in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers regarding warranty coverage and claim status, providing clear and timely updates.
• Coordinate with the service department to schedule product installations and repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager regarding any issues that may be present.
• Work with the Parts Manager with parts scrapping and Core returns.
• Help make everything compliant for Warranty process which is asked of from General Motors and Dealer agreement to protect the dealer.
• Post credit memos and adjust accordingly, anything which needs to be written off, discuss with Controller and Service Manager.
• Maintain organized records of warranty transactions and customer interactions in the database.
• Answer multi-line phone calls, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to warranty claims and automotive parts.
