Kenworth Truck Company, a PACCAR brand, seeks a Warranty Business Analyst in Kirkland, WA. You will serve as warranty SME in reviews, define coverage terms with cross-functional teams, and develop monthly dashboards to drive decisions.

You will automate reports, support policy definitions, and conduct ad hoc analyses using Tableau and SQL while thriving in a fast-paced environment with evolving objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years’ industry or related experience required.
• Data analytics experience with Python, SQL, Tableau and Excel is required.
• Self-directed team player with ability to manage several assignments.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to suggest technical solutions based on business needs.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, just-in-time environment.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Engineering, Aftersales, Purchasing, and Legal for coverage terms.
• Support development and maintenance of warranty bulletins and procedures.
• Develop and automate standard warranty reports, dashboards and metrics.
• Create standardized claim file templates to improve data consistency.
• Produce ad hoc analyses and reporting using Tableau and SQL.
• Perform auto-approval audits to ensure policy compliance.
• Track and report franchise state law requests and compliance.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Serve as the warranty subject matter expert (SME) in Engineering Design Reviews and Program Tollgate meetings, identifying and defining warranty and aftersales system requirements for new and existing products.
• Partner with Engineering, Aftersales, Purchasing, and Legal to establish component warranty coverage, including inclusions, exclusions, terms, and system requirements.
• Support the development, review, and maintenance of warranty bulletins, policy definitions, procedures, and program documentation.
• Develop and automate standard warranty reports, dashboards, and recurring performance metrics.
• Create and maintain standardized claim file templates to improve data consistency, reporting accuracy, and claims processing efficiency.
• Produce ad hoc analyses and reporting using Tableau and SQL to support warranty, product, and business decisions.
• Conduct auto-approval audits to ensure claims are processed accurately and in accordance with established warranty policies and controls.
• Track, manage, and report on franchise state law requests and related compliance requirements.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree a plus.
• 5+ years’ industry or related experience required.
• Data analytics experience (specifically with Python, SQL, Tableau, and Excel) is required.

The salary range for the Warranty Business Analyst is $90,400 - $141,800 annually.
