Job summary

AgriVision Equipment Group in Iowa seeks a Warranty Administrator to file and reconcile warranty claims across AVE-PLP locations. Reports to the Aftermarket Support Manager and collaborates with Service, Parts, and Customer teams to ensure accurate claims and timely resolution.

Candidates should have at least two years in service operations, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Deere Warranty systems and dealer software, plus MS Office; a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process parts and service warranty claims.
  • Oversee the warranty process to ensure necessary information is gathered.
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up on all outstanding claims.
  • Assist in managing Product Improvement Program (PIP) and ensure no expired PIPs.
  • Support Shortages and Damage Claims.
  • Support locations with machine transfer and machine location unknown process.
  • Perform other duties to ensure the success of AVE-PLP.

General Purpose:

The Warranty Administrator files and reconciles accurate warranty claims in accordance with policy coverages, supporting all locations' warranty needs. Reports to the Aftermarket Support Manager.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and process parts and service warranty claims.
  • Oversee the warranty process to ensure necessary information is gathered.
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up on all outstanding claims.
  • Understand warranty regulations and consult Service Managers, Technicians, and the Parts Department on proper warranty procedures.
  • Assist in managing the Product Improvement Program (PIP) and ensure no expired PIPs.
  • Support processing of Short-line Warranties including credits.
  • Support Shortage and Damage Claims.
  • Support locations with machine transfer and machine location unknown process.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the success of AVE-PLP.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent is required.
Experience:
  • Two or more years in Service Department operations required.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be substituted.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Passing a driving record (MVR), criminal history background checks, employment verification, and drug screen will be required prior to the start of employment.
Working Environment:
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the work location.
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Work may involve long hours and overtime during holidays, weekends, and evenings.
Physical Activities:
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, walk on unpaved terrain, talk, reach with arms and hands, have good manual dexterity, use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, handle or feel, hear alarms/telephones/normal speaking voice.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Moderate physical activity required by moving and positioning objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
