Municipal Court of Atlanta is seeking a Warrants Technician I to prepare and process Failure to Appear warrants, validate GCIC records, and coordinate with law enforcement for local pickups. The purpose of this position is to prepare and process Failure to Appear (FTA) warrants and process other warrants issued by the municipal court; preparing records for entry of warrants into Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC); validating and verifying active warrants; coordinating communications for the removal and cancellation of FTA warrants; running criminal and driver histories via GCIC database; and performing administrative and clerical functions related to warrants or other court operation-related activities.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Three (3) years of professional work experience, preferably in a judicial, law enforcement or jail environment or a college degree in Criminal Justice or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, relevant professional certification and experience deemed as providing the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
GCIC/NCIC Certifications
Fingerprinting required as a part of pre-employment onboarding. CJIS Security Policy v5-9-5.
Must be able to work in a shared space.
