Job summary

Chimes in Exton, PA is seeking a Warmline Peer Specialist to provide direct non-crisis supportive conversation by phone to callers nationwide. You will make and receive calls and offer peer support and resources as needed, coordinating with county crisis services when required.

This is an on-site role within Valley Creek Crisis Center - Warmline. Hires require a Peer Specialist Certification and a High School Diploma or equivalency, plus PA Act 33/34 clearances and FBI clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• A current or former recipient of mental health services and a willingness to acknowledge this experience to consumers and others as appropriate

Responsibilities

• Provide direct non-crisis supportive conversation to callers by phone.
• Record and report billable services, maintaining accurate records and submitting promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of supervisory protocols and schedules, and report to supervisor as scheduled.
• Notify supervisor of issues, questions, or concerns related to program operation.
• Monitor outcomes and progress notes, and participate in WRAP development and implementation.
• Keep professional relationships with consumers, payers, and community partners.
