Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a friendly host/hostess to warmly greet guests, manage seating, and relay messages to servers. You will open doors, record party sizes, and provide estimated wait times to guests in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The role requires standing for extended periods, clear communication, and impeccable grooming. Prior restaurant experience is not required; apply to join our guest-focused team.

Qualifications

• Be 16 years of age.
• No previous restaurant experience required.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 5 hours).
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have exceptional grooming habits.

Responsibilities

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible.
• Record guest names and party size when immediate seating is limited.
• Call out name and party size when tables become available.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting time.
• Accommodate special seating requests whenever possible.
• Seat guests based on preferences and balancing customer flow.
• Help bus tables and keep floors clean.
• Keep hostess stand and closet clean and stocked.
• Clean all windows in the foyer.
• Stock bathrooms and perform hourly bathroom checks.
• Offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name upon seating.
• Inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness.
• Relay messages to servers as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Answer the phone with a smile and the correct greeting.
