Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic receptionist to join our award-winning team. The role involves delivering professional customer service as the first point of contact in the home and performing a range of administrative tasks.

You will handle telephone enquiries, manage messages, support the General Manager with administration, and help keep the reception area tidy in partnership with Housekeeping. DBS check will be required and eligibility to work in the UK must be shown.

Qualifications

• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Have a positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
• Have previous exposure to problem-solving and client complaints.

Responsibilities

• Answering the telephone and responding to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly.
• Completing reception-related administration, maintaining databases, and providing administrative assistance as required by the General Manager.
• Maintaining the general tidiness of the reception area, liaising with Housekeeping to ensure standards are maintained.
