Loews Atlanta Hotel is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to welcome guests and manage seating. You will handle reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists with precision, escort guests to tables, and provide menus while maintaining a clean host stand.

A calm, organized demeanor and strong communication are essential to deliver a seamless dining experience. You will collaborate with servers and managers to optimize seating and guest flow, ensuring an excellent first impression and consistent service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant hosting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel system.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
• Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate seating requests when possible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Answer phone calls and assist with hours, menus, and reservations.
• Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating as needed.
• Assist with guest recovery and handle concerns with empathy.
• Adhere to all hotel policies to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
