Link Restaurant Group in New Orleans is seeking a warm, professional host or hostess. You will greet guests, manage reservations, seat guests efficiently, and help maintain a welcoming, clean front of house.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of host and/or restaurant experience in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work in an organized and professional manner.
• Able to work in a standing/walking position for long periods of time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess exceptional work ethic and strong hospitality.
• Receptive to constructive criticism and performance feedback.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the restaurant and thank guests leaving.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and front door area.
• Answers phone, takes reservations.
• Seating guests efficiently according to company standards.
• Communicate delays or waits to guests politely.
• Ensure menus and wine lists are clean and presentable to the guest.
• Inform management of special requests, celebrations, or large parties.
• Engage management for any guest issue or complaint.
• Note special requests to servers and managers as needed.
