Job summary

Yona Solutions in Ohio is seeking a friendly Server to join our team and provide warm hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers in our dining area.

You will assist in food preparation, set up dining rooms, take orders, serve meals, ensure cleanliness, and uphold sanitation standards while delivering excellent customer service. Experience in service and good communication skills are preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Server
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Apt in operating cookware and dining equipment
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Criminal background check may be required

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of food in quantities according to the menu and number of persons to be served.
• Sets up dining room as instructed and prepares tables with utensils and napkins.
• Prepares items such as salads and beverages.
• Greets customers as they are seated and presents daily specials.
• Takes resident orders in dining room and serves meals in a timely manner.
• Ensures food is prepared correctly and to residents’ satisfaction.
• Cleans dining and prep areas, equipment and utensils according to proper procedures.
• Cleans and stores dishes, washes cooking equipment and mops floors.
• Reports issues to Food Services Director and complies with sanitation standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
