Yona Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana is seeking a warm, friendly Server to provide hospitality to residents, visitors and coworkers in our dining setting. You will join a team dedicated to a happy, healthy, and clean environment.

This role requires prior server experience, strong communication, and knowledge of sanitation. You will help set tables, take orders, serve meals, and maintain clean dining areas while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Server.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of food in quantities according to the menu, recipe and number of persons to be served.
• Greets customers as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided.
• Takes resident orders in dining room and serves meals to residents in a timely manner.
• Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to residents’ satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
• Cleans resident eating areas, work areas, equipment and utensils according to the proper procedures.
• Removes garbage and stores food in designated areas.
• Complies with state and federal sanitation standards and health care requirements.
• Attends in-services and other required meetings.
