Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a motivated Simulation Developer to join our team supporting a mission engineering modeling and analysis customer in Quantico, VA. This on-site role focuses on building simulations of weapon systems, scenarios, and adversarial models to support wargaming studies.

You will design, implement, and validate simulation models using C++, C#, Python, or Java, integrate them into larger architectures, and collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure fidelity and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field (CS/SE/Game Dev).
• Minimum 5+ years in software development focused on simulation or game-like environments.
• Experience with C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with simulation platforms or game engines (AFSIM/NGTS/Unity/Unreal/Simio/Arena).
• Version control and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain simulation models and environments.
• Integrate simulations into larger system architectures and NCIP workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and SMEs to improve fidelity and accuracy.
• Implement new features, test, validate, and troubleshoot across platforms.
• Lead planning, coordination, and documentation for simulation projects.
