Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a motivated Software Simulation Developer to join our team supporting a mission engineering modeling and wargaming program in Quantico, VA. You will design, develop, and sustain simulation models using C++, C#, Python, or Java, and integrate them into larger systems.

Requires a BS in CS/SE/Game Development, 5+ years in simulation, on-site at Quantico, and DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience focused on simulation or game-based environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain simulation models and environments using various programming languages, tools, and data sources.
• Integrate simulations into larger system architectures and support interoperability testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and SMEs to enhance model fidelity and accuracy.
• Implement new features, test and validate models, and troubleshoot across evolving platforms.
• Lead and support planning, coordination, and documentation for simulation projects.
