Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a motivated AFSIM Developer to join our team supporting a mission engineering modeling, sim and analysis customer in Quantico, VA. Core work includes building simulations of weapon systems, events, adversaries, and environments to support wargaming studies.

Responsibilities cover design, development, testing, and documentation of simulation models while collaborating across engineers and SMEs to ensure fidelity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed.
• 5+ years in software development focused on simulation or game environments.
• Proficient in C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Experience with AFSIM or similar simulation platforms and game engines.
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain simulation models and environments.
• Integrate simulations into larger system architectures for interoperability testing.
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts to improve model fidelity and accuracy.
• Implement new features, test, validate, and troubleshoot across platforms.
• Lead planning, coordination, and documentation for simulation projects.
