Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Wares Processor to accurately assess, sort and tag hard line products, and to drive in-store sales by following the pricing guide and merchandising standards.

You will maintain clean, stocked workstations, greet customers, and work with the team to meet production goals such as handling 40 totes per day and contributing to a safe, friendly retail environment in a store setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as time cards and policy manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly to other employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Sort hard line products accurately based on quality standards.
• Tag and label products according to pricing guide system.
• Generate in-store sales and maintain a daily production of totes on the floor.
• Push, place, and maintain merchandise on the sales floor.
• Ensure safety procedures during packing and movement of equipment.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude toward customers and team members.
