Summary

This position involves supervising warehouse team members and managing warehouse operations in accordance with Tyson’s Policies. You may oversee a team of up to 15-20 members.

Qualifications

• At least six (6) months of continuous work history with a single employer in the last twelve (12) months.
• Basic computer skills; experience with JDA/Blue Yonder, PUTTY, WMS, Microsoft Office preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; secondary degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of warehousing experience preferred, including cold storage.
• 1-2 years of management experience preferred.
• Physical requirements include full range of motion, ability to stand for extended periods, and work with corrective lenses if needed.
• Must pass post-offer health assessment and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, orderly work environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Work approximately 13-hour shifts, moving quickly and handling physical tasks up to 40 pounds.
• Use provided laptop for audits, research, and inventory management.
• Develop and mentor team members, support operational needs, and manage workflow.
• Lead meetings, communicate effectively, and resolve issues with drivers and security.
• Perform additional duties as needed and adhere to Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines.

Environment

• Operate PIT equipment in cold and damp environments, with temperatures from -5 to 34°F.
• Wear PPE including freezer suits, hearing protection, gloves, and headwear as required.
• Drive forklifts and reach trucks; may be trained on cherry pickers.
• Stand or walk up to 100% of the time; may include sedentary work and outdoor tasks in extreme weather.

Night shift premium: $50/week

Shifts:

D Shift: Wednesday 12AM–6AM, Thursday–Saturday 6PM–6AM
