Job summary

Wyffels Hybrids in Illinois is seeking a Warehousing Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring seed corn is stored, handled, and distributed safely and efficiently. You will coordinate seed movement between facilities, oversee shipping and receiving, and provide leadership to warehouse staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting seasonal demands, and driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience required.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Organize warehouse operations to maximize staging, storage, and workflow efficiency.
• Lead safety initiatives and bi-weekly safety meetings; investigate incidents.
• Manage cold storage operations, including startup/shutdown activities.
• Oversee shipping and receiving at multiple locations; ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Plan staffing, onboarding, training, and scheduling; coach and develop team members.
• Support production planning with forecasting and material handling.
