Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Manage Daily Parts Receiving, Storage, and Distribution within warehouse policies.
  • Process all incoming parts accurately, load appropriately, and record transactions within two working days.
  • Process inventory maintenance transactions and system changes within two working days of generation.
  • Process weekly location availability reports within two days of receipt.
  • Conduct daily bin counts within four hours of receipt.
  • Ensure all parts are received, identified, and warehoused safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in core warehouse functions including Receiving, Stocking, Hose Press, Shipping, and Returns.
  • Process all orders for delivery or pickup promptly on the day of receipt.
  • Deliver parts to resident technician accounts and major customers, including emergency field deliveries as needed.
  • Load/unload parts delivery trucks efficiently and coordinate parts flow between warehouse, technicians, and customers.
  • Support shift coverage and workflow coordination during assigned shifts.
  • Maintain security and accountability of inventory; minimize shrinkage.
  • Store parts neatly with proper labeling; attach signage per company standards.

Primary Function
The Warehouser II implements warehouse activities in a manner that maximizes service to customers and effectively utilizes the facilities and equipment allotted for parts inventories. Serves as a fully proficient team member across core warehouse functions while supporting operational efficiency, shift leadership, and warehouse improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties
Manage Daily Parts Receiving, Storage, and Distribution

  • Ensure receiving, storing, and distribution activities are carried out in a professional manner in accordance with warehouse policies
  • Process all incoming parts accurately, load appropriately, and record transactions within two working days
  • Process inventory maintenance transactions and system changes within two working days of generation
  • Process weekly location availability reports within two days of receipt
  • Conduct daily bin count listings within four hours of receipt
  • Ensure all parts are received, identified, and warehoused in a safe and efficient manner
  • Demonstrate full proficiency in core warehouse functions including Receiving, Stocking, Hose Press, Shipping, and Returns

Execute Order Processing and Delivery Operations

  • Process all orders for delivery or pickup promptly and efficiently on the day of receipt
  • Deliver parts to resident technician accounts and major customers, including emergency field deliveries as needed
  • Properly load and unload parts delivery trucks in the most efficient manner
  • Maintain timely and accurate coordination of parts flow between warehouse, technicians, and customers
  • Support workflow coordination and operational coverage during assigned shifts as needed

Maintain Inventory Control and Warehouse Organization

  • Ensure security and accountability of parts inventory through proper storage and handling practices
  • Minimize warehouse and trucking inventory shrinkage by securing doors, gates, and storage areas
  • Store all parts in a neat, orderly, and properly identified manner
  • Attach warehouse labels and signage in accordance with company standards
  • Clear and sweep aisles daily and dispose of non-reusable shipping materials appropriately
  • Assist with assigned warehouse projects and continuous improvement initiatives to support operational efficiency

Ensure Equipment Safety and Facility Compliance

  • Operate road vehicles and lift trucks safely in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure all warehouse and material handling equipment is properly serviced and maintained
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse work areas and traffic lanes
  • Follow all safety procedures related to material handling and storage operations
  • Support shift oversight and daily operational readiness when needed

Support Customer Service, Communication, and Team Development

  • Maintain daily working relationships and communication with walk-in customers, field service technicians, parts counter sales representatives, and group leaders to ensure efficient parts flow and service support
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for warehouse processes and operational support within the team
  • Support training and development of less experienced warehouse employees as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership potential through accountability, initiative, and operational support responsibilities
Education
Work Experience
  • 2-4+ years of work experience.
Physical
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb and lift.
  • Able to routinely lift and carry parts up to 55 pounds without aid or assistance.
  • Able to see and hear in order to operate warehouse equipment (i.e. forklifts, sweepers, hose assembly, etc).
Other
  • Fully proficient in all core warehouse functions.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, lift trucks, and warehouse equipment safely
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Able to pass a government background check.
  • Exposure to PC's and keyboards.
