AMI Metals, Inc. in Fontana, CA is seeking a Packer to prepare customer orders for shipping. You will build skids or boxes, operate saws and fasteners, and ensure packages meet company standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Builds skids or boxes for packing and shipping of all orders.
• Uses crosscut saw, miter saw, nail gun, staple gun and banding equipment as needed.
• Follows AMI packing and preservation policies and procedures.
• Performs quality inspections on orders to maintain 100% quality standards.
• Marks all shipments in accordance with customer and AMI procedures and requirements.
• Properly stencils shipping information as required.
• Provides maintenance and keeps records of maintenance on all equipment assigned.
• Maintains clean work area.
• Follows all company safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Participates in TQM and SPC meetings.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $23.16/Hr. - USD $23.16/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
