Klöckner & Co SE is seeking a Warehouseman for the Greenville, SC plant to support material movement and inventory control. The role uses overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials and to keep production lines supplied with necessary materials.

The position requires basic arithmetic, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a proven reliable work history. This is a 2nd shift role with overtime as needed and would involve working with various company benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers and use units of measurement for weight, volume, and distance.
• Pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials.
• Receives incoming inventory with proper tagging and documentation.
• Maintains production line equipment and ensures raw materials are available to minimize downtime.
• Uses computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

The Warehouseman is responsible for efficiently managing the movement and handling of materials within the plant site. This role involves operating equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts, handling inventory, maintaining production line equipment, and performing various related tasks.

2nd Shift Hours: 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Monday-Thursday - Friday 1:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.

Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials
• Inventory Management: Receives incoming inventory, ensuring proper tagging and documentation
• Production Support: Maintains production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime
• Computer Operations: Utilizes computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials
• Additional Duties: Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED required. 1 to 3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mathematical Skills:Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with whole numbers, and use units of American money and measurements for weight, volume, and distance
• Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
• Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history
• Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all inspection tasks
