Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Walton, KY, to support daily operations in a brand-new facility. You will receive and verify merchandise, manage inventory data, label and sort items, and prepare orders for shipment using conveyors and equipment. Shifts run Monday through Thursday with OT Fridays, with $20.25 per hour pay.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods, and operate scanners and handheld devices to track inventory. Safety and productivity are paramount.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs regularly and team-lift 85 lbs when needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk long distances for 12-hour shifts.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push and pull throughout shifts.

Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and audit incoming and outgoing merchandise to ensure orders are accurate.

• Enter inventory information into the computer and track products as needed.

• Label, sort, palletize, and replenish products in designated pick locations.

• Pick and fill store orders by selecting products and moving them through the conveyor system.

• Load products onto trailers for shipment using conveyors or material handling equipment.

• Follow safety, quality, and productivity standards while supporting daily warehouse operations.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs regularly and team lift up to 85 lbs when needed.

• Ability to stand, walk long distances, climb stairs, and work up to 12-hour shifts.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet and in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift or cherry picker experience is a plus, but not required.

• Comfortable using handheld scanners or other inventory tracking devices.

Shifts/Pay:

• Weekly pay

• Monday - Thursday + OT On Fridays ($20.25/hr): 6:00am - 4:30pm OR 6:00pm - 4:30am

• Shifts may run later until all work is completed

Work Environment

• Brand-new, clean, and organized warehouse

• Gain hands-on experience in order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling

• Fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent walking, lifting, standing, bending, reaching, and stair climbing throughout shifts that can last up to 12 hours.

• Work around conveyors, pallets, and other warehouse equipment, including elevated work areas up to 30 feet high.

• Strong focus on safety, quality, and maintaining a clean, well-maintained workplace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walton, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
