Job summary

Growscape in Ohio is hiring an experienced Warehouse Worker to process incoming shipments, maintain orderly storage, and prepare outbound loads. You will operate standup forklifts, turret/swing-reach trucks, cherry pickers and pallet jacks with strict attention to safety.

Responsibilities include receiving, picking, loading, inventory checks and occasional special projects. A High School diploma and at least 1 year in a warehouse setting are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months continuous experience on forklifts, reach trucks or turret trucks.
• Minimum of 12 months cumulative experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Experience with RF scan guns and warehouse management software.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and put away inbound shipments with accuracy and safety.
• Pick customer orders according to pick tickets and inspect packaging.
• Load product onto trailers and confirm correct stop order.
• Conduct spot checks and inventory counts; investigate discrepancies.
• Support special projects and adhere to company standards and safety rules.

Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: OH Middlefield - Middlefield, OH 44062Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: WarehouseThe Warehouse Worker ensures complete and accurate processing of all incoming shipments, pick tickets and outbound customer loads.Must be comfortable with heights and operating a variety of equipment including standup forklifts, turret/swing-reach trucks, cherry pickers and pallet jacks. Weekend Shift is Friday - Sunday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment, always prioritizing safety
• Receiving:
  • Unloads inbound shuttles from the plants
  • Puts product away in an organized manner
  • Tracks bin locations of new product
  • Consolidates product when applicable to create additional storage space
• Picking:
  • Picks customer orders according to pick ticket specifications
  • Ensures product and packaging is in good condition
  • Stages product in stop order in designated staging lane, consolidates product when applicable
• Loading:
  • Loads product from staging area onto specified truck trailer
  • Ensures product is in excellent shipping condition and in the proper stop order
  • Completes audit sheets when applicable
  • Works with site Customer Service Reps to verify additional product that might be available
  • Completes all necessary BOL and internal paperwork
• Inventory:
  • Completes spot checks and inventory counts based upon assignments provided by the Inventory Analyst
  • Investigates discrepancies in product, quantity, or labeling
  • Daily auditing of skus and quantities
  • Maintains corrugate variety and supply
• Projects: Works independently or on a team to complete special projects for the site
• All tasks: Maintains quality service by following Growscape's company-wide standards; maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping bin locations, pallet area, and workstations neat and free of debris and trash; maintain clean shipping supply area; complies with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Responsibilities may be amended as needed.

QualificationsExperience:

• Minimum of 12 months continuous experience on Forklifts, Reach Trucks or Turret Trucks

• Experience in RF Scan Guns and Warehouse Management Computer Software

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift 50 lbs, and to stand, bend, stretch, sit and reach continuously throughout the shift
