Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates for our Dayton, NJ location. The role focuses on accurate picking, light-to-moderate lifting, and operating warehouse equipment while adhering to safety standards. Great team environment and opportunity to grow within the organization.

Base pay is $19.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for overtime as needed. Training provided for all required equipment and RF scanning tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and quantities.
• Lift up to 50–100 lbs and operate warehouse equipment as applicable.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and products
• Need to be able to lift 50lbs to 100lbs
• OT is required
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Follow all safety requirements
• Accurately select products by matching numbers, picking required quantities, and confirming locations
• Hand stack cases of product in a defined stacking pattern repetitively from floor to pallet throughout duration of the shift
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Must be willing to operate EPJ, Reach Truck, Forklift, and use RF Scanners

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
