Job summary

Penske Logistics in Dayton, NJ is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety-conscious team. This entry-level role focuses on accurate picking, stacking, and inventory control while following all safety guidelines.

The position offers a $19.00 base pay per hour, a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:45am to 3:15pm, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and an associate referral program. OT may be required to meet demand.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to operate in non-climate-controlled conditions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and products.
• Need to be able to lift 50lbs to 100lbs.
• OT is required.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Accurately select products by matching numbers, picking required quantities, and confirming locations.
• Hand stack cases of product in a defined stacking pattern repetitively from floor to pallet throughout duration of the shift.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable).
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Must be willing to operate EPJ, Reach Truck, Forklift, and use RF Scanners.
