Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking warehouse associates in Laredo, Texas to join a safety-conscious team. Enjoy PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, and various discounts. Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–12:00 am with potential weekend/holiday shifts. Base rate is $21.63 per hour with opportunities for growth.

Applicants should be able to read, follow directions, and work independently in a non-climate-controlled environment. Background check and drug screening required.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Match numbers and letters accurately.
• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sort parts and place into racks or designated areas.
• Stack boxes and pallets securely for shipping.
• Process multiple orders and move materials within the warehouse.
• Follow all safety requirements and operate the warehouse system.

Position Details:

Monday to Friday 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (weekends/holidays as required)

• $21.63 base rate

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Stack and secure picked product in a stable manner for shipping
• Select and process multiple orders at a time
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required (Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred)
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
